Faith Statement

  1. We believe in the Holy Bible as the authoritative WORD OF GOD, sufficient in all matters of faith and practice (II Timothy 3:16-17; II Peter 1:21)

  2. We believe that all men have sinned and have fallen short of the glory of God and that salvation is through repentance and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ (Rom. 5:12; Rom. 3:5-9; Acts 20:20-21).

  3. We believe in the Eternal Godhead; God the Father and creator of the universe; God the Son and the Saviour of the world; and God the Holy Spirit, the Comforter. These are distinct and separate persons possessing separate distinct and recognizable personalities and qualities and yet one (Heb 9:14; 1 Jn 5:7; II Cor 13:14).

  4. We believe in water baptism by immersion inn the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, as a mark of repentance (Matt 28:19-20).

  5. We believe in the Lord's Supper which is the regular breaking of bread, remembering his death and suffering till he comes (I Cor 11:23; Matt 26:26-29)

  6. We believe in sanctification which is the personal holiness of those that are saved, and this of course is positional, practical, and progressive. (Heb 12:14; I Pet 1:16; Rom 2:1-2; I Thess 4:3)

  7. We believe in baptism of the Holy Spirit which is the enduement power from on high with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues (Acts 2:4; Acts 9:6)

  8. We believe in divine healing as provided in the redemptive work of our Lord Jesus Christ to heal the sick in answer to simple prayer of faith in his name only (Matt 8:16-17; James 5:14-16; Isa 53:4-5).

  9. We believe in the universality of the Church, that the Church is the universal body of Christ which is made up all those that are washed by the blood of Christ. It is the will of God for all believers to identify themselves with a local assembly for the purpose of fellowship, evangelism and discipleship (Eph 1:21-32; Heb 10:25).

  10. We believe in the second coming of Christ to rapture the church and his millennial reign (I Thess 4:16-17; Rev 20:1-3).

  11. We believe in the final judgment of all flesh and eternal heaven and eternal hell (Rev 19:20; Rev 2:11-15; II Cor 5:10; Rom 14:21; Lk 16:24; Rev 14:10-11)

  12. We believe in the new heaven and the new earth (II Pet 3:13; Rev 21:22)
